What does a Saturnalia cake, a Galette des Rois, a Dreikönigskuchen and a Rosca de Reyes have in common? Join us for an exploration of the rich history of everyone’s favorite Mardi Gras treat – King Cake.
Matt Haines, author of best-selling books, The Big Book of King Cake, and children's book, The Little Book of King Cake, will guide us through the thousands-year history of king cake and how the unique ways the custom is celebrated around the world led to our current Louisiana tradition.
