Legends Sports Bar & Lounge, Mansfield
16 Bands - 2 Afterparties with visiting DJ's - No Clashes
This is our first act announcement and we today tell you TEN bands that will be joining us!
Saturday Headliner - InDevth
We are proud to have headlining on Saturday is an awesome band who played Download Festival in 2024.
InDevth brings to us their disgustingly heavy take on Metalcore with cathartic vocals and big slamming riffs.
Sunday Headliner - Once Awake
Making the trip from their homeland of Norway, we are excited that Once Awake will be headlining on Sunday.
Performing at the first-ever Knotfest live-streaming festival ‘Pulse Of The Maggots’ during the pandemic - alongside bands such as Orbit Culture and Vended to name a few - they got worldwide attention and recognition.
Forging metal with influences from the early 2000s new wave of American metal as well as the Scandinavian melodic death metal scene, the Norwegians have made a mark for themselves.
Other Saturday bands:
Eschalon - This Metalcore powerhouse from Cambridge is coming to entertain you all. Described as a visual and auditory onslaught, Eschalon’s presence is undeniable; from their striking visuals, to their dynamic sound and immersive live experience, with the band racking up over 400,000 streams across platforms in their first year.
Mixing dissonance and serenity in a way that is unique in 2024, Eschalon draws from a wide range of influences, fusing multiple genres throughout a dense and chaotic soundscape.
Bleed The Fifth - Following a barnstorming performance at Legends a few days ago, we welcome back from Wales, Bleed The Fifth! Bringing ear-shredding Metalcore with a modern and unique take for 2024. If you didn't hear it last week, check out their latest release, Psychosis.
Glass Grave - Fresh off BBC Radio 1 & Kerrang radio, Glass Grave are a four-piece Metal / Emo Shoegaze outfit from Brighton, UK. Since the band's formation in 2022, they have toured all around the UK. They have received radio play with Alyx Holcombe on BBC Radio 1 & Alex Baker's Fresh Blood on Kerrang radio. They have performed alongside the likes of Loathe, Oceans Ate Alaska, Heart Of a Coward and Chelsea Grin.
Elkalpath - Elkapath are a glorious fusion of synths and heavy riff filled guitars working together in perfect harmony. Elkapath has only in the last few years become a full band and has spent the best part of 15 years playing music as a solo act. Their style is a mixture of various electronic styles and a wide mixture of guitar styles from punk right down to low tuned gut grinding metal with the odd wildcard.
We Are Sovereign - We are so pleased to welcome back to Mansfield, the first band who played for Arockalypse Productions when we formally brought back live Rock & Metal to Mansfield. Hailing from Derby, We Are Sovereign takes us back nostalgically to an era from 20 years ago with original music containing soaring riffs, heartfelt vocals, and tonnes of passion.
Shadowvale - Shadowvale, born from a desire to merge doom-metal vibes with a sludge-metal and hardcore edge. They are spreading our "lost in the woods on a bad trip" sound to all who will partake.
D A L E - Opening the festival for us will be Nottingham Hench Hardcore duo, D A L E. Having just completed recording their debut album (release TBC) which there will inevitably be its content played for us, there will be plenty of hard hitting tracks to get the weekend to the right start.
Other Sunday bands:
Asleep At The Helm - Returning to Mansfield after their sell out gig earlier this year. Asleep At The Helm is a four piece new age metalcore band hailing from Manchester, UK. Formed in 2018, Asleep At The Helm are a modern Metalcore quintet hailing from Manchester, UK. Showcasing a powerful understanding of fierce aggression laced with soaring melodies the bands latest offering (their highly anticipated sophomore album) “KEEPSAKE” has taken the uk underground by storm, with no respite insight and them also releasing new material this week as they take the next step in their evolution.
Dead Flesh - Back by popular demand after visiting Mansfield this year, we welcome back with open arms, Dead Flesh. Since last being with us they have played Bloodstock Fesitival. They are a Deathcore band from London showcasing the horror of society and mental struggle through disgusting music.
K*ll All The Gentlemen - Established in Exeter, KATG deliver a straight-up, in-your-face brew of Blackened Death Metal which would make bands like Machine Head and In Flames Proud. They are currently writing material for a new release.
Kaparilion - Melodic Metal Band Kaparilion from Derbyshire joined us last in Mansfield in February 2024 and were very warmly received with their melodic Metal. Since last playing they've took a step forward in their sound and recorded some really fantastic music which they can't wait to come and play for you.
Cottonmouth - Cottonmouth is a Metal / Hard Rock band from Nottingham. Formed in late 2017, they have spent the time given to them crafting their sound and solidifying a great line-up of talented musicians with the ability to write catchy and solid Hard Rock songs. With original material that meets many inspirations, Cottonmouth provides soaring leads, dynamic vocals, and thundering rhythms that deliver a great live performance in any venue. The band suffered from not having their gig in Mansfield not go ahead in 2024 with another promoter due to the closure of Priors Well Brewery. They've been chomping at the bit to rearrange a visit and it is a pleasure to welcome them onto this lineup.
Down In One - Opening up on Sunday is 'Whiskey fuelled heavy-goddamned-metal' band from Nottingham, Down In One. Following a good run in Bloodstock Metal 2 The Masses and accompanying Evil Scarecrow, the band has had a small hiatus but is now returning with bigger riffs and new music. Those familiar with Arockalypse Productions gigs in Mansfield will be keen to see this band with our very own James Allsop having written many of their songs and will be playing lead guitar.
Uridium - These talented guys will open up proceedings on Sunday and will stop you being bleary-eyed with their take on old skool metal!
Those of you familiar with our location will know, it's not massive, so neither is our capacity, so we expect tickets to disappear very quickly, so don't delay and buy them today! Tickets are priced at a great value price of £26 plus booking fee.
We would like to thank Rastattoo and The Underworld for sponsoring our event to help make this possible.
In the build-up to the event, our official media partner, Ready To Mosh, will be providing some exciting content on the bands to get your tastebuds watering on the way up to the festival.
