🥪🍎IT’S ALL HAPPENING 🍎🥪 In partnership with @incommoncd and @savinggracefood and the neighbors of Walnut Hill, @ksuzjones and Darby Arant Whealy are SO STOKED to announce the official kickoff of Kindness Kitchen Community Fridge!!! Please join us on Saturday May 18th at 1 pm at InCOMMON’s Walnut Hill location for a grand opening party.
Want to get involved? There are lots of opportunities to volunteer!
🍓Daily fridge checks (1x per week)
🥬 Weekly deep-cleans (1x per month)
🧀Volunteer drivers to transport donations to the fridge (as needed)
🍅 Donations of extra food can be made any time (unopened, undamaged, not expired please, and labeled with donation date 😘)
🫒Home cooks can donate any time (individual portions, family portions like a disposable pan of lasagna, and sack lunches are all very welcome ❤️), just label donations with list of ingredients and donation date.
🥫Have a connection to a community group, church group, local restaurant or food store that may want to donate excess food? Message me!
🥗 Ideas for other possible locations for a community fridge? We are already planning to expand and would love to collaborate.
