Following last autumn's release of her incredible single, ’Hazel Frustration’, and the accompanying electric sold out home-show at Hyde Park Book Club, it’s time for Kindelan to step up for her first ever headline show at the legendary Brudenell Social Club. Kindelan will be joined on stage by her full-band of prized musicians and long-term collaborators Amy Clark/Hannah Lamb (backing vocals), Luca Ferrara (drums), Sam Curwen (bass guitar), Sam Dolling (keys) and Luca Vitalle (cello) to share a captivating, dynamic and potent set.
Since autumn 2022, Kindelan has been establishing herself as an enchanting, head-turning force with a growing list of highly-regarded single releases. Her ability to tell authentic, intricately woven stories is unmatched. With a focus on rich vocal arrangements, layered organic instrumentation, and poetic lyricism, Kindelan’s guitar-driven compositions have a sound often likened to that of Lianne La Havas and Hiatus Kaiyote’s Nai Palm
The release of her debut single ‘The Other Side’ and follow up single ‘Hazel Frustration’ saw industry-wide support from the likes of Atwood Magazine’s editor-in-chief Mitch Mosk, who describes her music as “an utterly mesmerising experience”, writing that “everything Kindelan touches turns to pure gold”. As well as BBC Introducing York’s presenter Jericho Keys, who predicts Kindelan to be “an artist who [will] have an incredible year”, describing her music as “simply stunning”.
To kick off 2023, Kindelan released the single ’Know You’ in collaboration with Come Play With Me Records. A compilation album is now available on vinyl.
After a couple years of crafting a defining body of work, Kindelan is finally set to release her highly anticipated debut EP, titled "you can reach me if you try", in May 2023. ‘The Other Side’, ‘Hazel Frustration’ and 'Feast' are three pieces within a 7-track offering of hand-crafted songs telling the stories of life’s in-between moments.
Kindelan describes her music as “guitar-driven arrangements, broken up with moments of dynamic contrast, layered with organic textures and steeped in rich and considered vocal arrangements". Many of Kindelan’s stories live in the brain, exhibiting some of her hopes and anxieties surrounding both past and future; set in a morphing sound-world that sits somewhere between dream-like and reality. The intimately co-produced project also involves friend and collaborator Ed Allen, who on production/mixing duties, helped bring the stunning seven-track EP to life. The project is not one to miss from a rising star in the underground UK music scene.

Support comes from rising alt-soul singer Hannah Rowe, another talented vocalist to emerge from Leeds Conservatoire. Hannah’s sound transcends generations and her songs have themes that everyone can relate to.....emotions, feelings, lived experiences, life changes. All subjects that resonate with each and everyone of us. Hannah’s sultry vocal tone paired with her jazz infused band creates an incredibly warm and captivating sound that's already seen her performing on stages across the city at Northern Guitars, Oporto, Hifi Club and Union Coffee House. Tonight, she and the band step up onto the stage at the Community Room at the legendary Brudenell Social Club to open for Kindelan. Get down early and catch another rising star vocalist from Leeds.
