About this Event
Maternal Journal provides a positive outlet for some of the new feelings and challenges you might experience, both physically and emotionally in pregnancy and new parenthood.
Join Hannah for our weekly workshops where we will explore the practice of journaling to promote positive mental health and wellbeing. You can sign up for a one week introduction, for additional single sessions, or a four week block.
Each session lasts for 2 hours with time for everyone to introduce themselves, a middle section for journaling with time for discussion and refreshments. We will provide sheets of paper, you are welcome to bring a journal with you. All art materials and refreshments will be provided. This is a relaxed session and you are welcome to attend with your baby.
Attendance at an introductory session &/or joining a 4 week journaling group is done on a pay what you can basis, with a free option, a low cost ticket option of £10 for two hours available, and the option to make a pay it forward donation if you can. Please note donations are non-refundable.
How to find us: Our main Hub is at the Lochend Road Hall of Leith St Andrew's, next to Leith Links (EH6 8HT) which has a mixture of free and paid on street parking (please double check signage). It is also accessible by buses stopping nearby at Duke Street, Easter Road and Leith Walk which is also the nearest tram stop.
Entry is via Lochend Road, where there is step free access and a bell at the blue door at the entrance.

We also have groups and classes running at Kin @Leith St James, entry via John's place - please double check which venue your group or activity is taking place in.
