INTRODUCING
Welcome to the last wilderness frontier of Australia Safari, the famous Kimberley! Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey through the incredible arid Savannah, immersing yourself in the awe-inspiring beauty of the world heritage-listed Bungle Bungles. We only travel once a year to the Kimberley but we do it well.
Prepare to be enchanted as you swim in numerous breathtaking gorges and waterfalls, bask in the glorious Western Australian sun during amazing short hikes (ranging from 2 to 4 kilometers), and camp under the majestic Baob trees at our specially selected campsites.
Wildlife enthusiasts will be delighted by the abundance of viewing opportunities, including crocodiles, emus, kangaroos, jabirus, brolgas, camels, dingoes, barramundi (which may even find their way onto our dinner plates if we’re lucky enough to catch a legal one), snakes, and perhaps even spiders—thanks to Sharon, our guide’s uncanny knack for finding them.
Our adventure continues along the famous Gibb River Road—a 660-kilometer stretch of mostly corrugated road that offers one of Australia’s most unique 4WD experiences. We’ll traverse rivers, conquer small 4WD sections, and revel in the breathtaking scenery that surrounds us. Along the way, we’ll have the rare opportunity to spend a night on the banks of the Pentecost River and explore tracks that are rarely driven.
Prepare to be captivated by Lake Argyle—a hidden gem teeming with an estimated 35,000 freshwater crocodiles. We’ll spend a day exploring its vast reaches, embark on a scenic cruise, and for those feeling adventurous, take a dip alongside these fascinating creatures. In the afternoon, we’ll cool off in the award-winning infinity pool that overlooks the lake—an experience worthy of an Instagram post.
Our journey wouldn’t be complete without a visit to El Questro Station—a beautiful oasis boasting incredible facilities and fantastic gorges. Immerse yourself in nature’s wonders as you soak in thermal springs and embark on captivating walks. fantastic gorges, thermal springs & walks. We recommend a lunch stop here for their delicious Pizza.

Safari Leaders – Patrick & Sharon
A message from Sharon and Patrick! - We would be delighted if you choose to join us on this adventure which will be our third trip to the Kimberley. Already we feel like we have done it all yet there really is so much to see. Every year we try to add something new, that, off the beaten track element and a little exploration away from the main tourist tracks. We all love exploring. That's how nations were made were they not? We also love cooking meals for everyone and you really won't believe the sorts of delicious meals our menu offers in the middle of knowhere. Be warned, Patrick can go into Karaoke mode from time to time - but look he does sing a pretty good tune. The most important thing is that we want to take you to place you will likely never visit again so that you can learn what the Kimberley is all about and how the traditional owners nurture the land. We have all the equipment we need therefore we hope you will join us for this incredible adventure of a lifetime!
