About this Event

The age of isolation is creeping to 1,000 days now. We know that Covid can K*ll us, but lack of connection can hurt us more. Kim Samuel knows all about the power of belonging and how it adds years to our lives and happiness.

She founded the Samuel Centre for Social Connectedness, teaches at McGill, lectures at Harvard and the World Economic Forum, and is Visiting Scholar at the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative.

Her new book, , shows how to create lives and places rooted not in material progress or even personal freedom, but in belonging.
