About this Event

We'll supply
• All materials and tuition
• Hot/cold drinks and tasty snacks
This month
Always wanted to know how to make your own pigments? Me too!
Today Heather takes a break and enjoys a visit from a lovely local guest artist
Suzanne Pinder, who will introduce you to ancient pigments made from natural
materials.
We’ll look at
• Paints, dyes and inks for immediate use on wood, paper and fabric
• How to store pigments
• How to make a pigment travel set
Pigments are made using recycled items as Suzanne is an expert at repurposing
Please wear something appropriate for this colourful class as you will be getting
‘hands on’ with your pigments.
This session is in our upstairs workshop space. We have a lift! Otherwise it is fourteen steps turn a corner and two more steps. There is an accessible loo on the same floor.
