About this Event

A talk about the evolving nature of HS2, the first new intercity railway to be built north of London in over a century, and in particular the next steps and work they are doing to support the environment.

Blake Edmunds, a senior project manager working for HS2, will share his experience delivering the civil works for the Colne Valley and Chilterns of HS2 Phase One as a part of Align’s integrated project team for the last 6 years.

HS2 is the first new intercity railway to be built north of London in over a century. Construction is well underway, employing over 28,000, including over 1500 apprentices and 4,000 previously unemployed, and bringing together the best of British design and engineering.
