One of our very own Burn families is walking through something incredibly challenging and incredibly inspiring. Isla was diagnosed with cerebral palsy about a year and a half ago. Since then, she has been working tirelessly in therapy to build strength, improve motor skills, and gain independence. Her determination, resilience, and joy have been nothing short of amazing to witness.
Unfortunately, recent changes to federal health coverage mean that Isla’s insurance will no longer cover the intensive therapy sessions that have played a critical role in her progress. These sessions are essential—especially at her age—but they come at a high financial cost.
Because of this, Burn Boot Camp Verona and Burn Boot Camp Monona have committed to donating 100% of Kidz Camp proceeds throughout 2026 to support Isla and her family. Every camp, every kiddo, every dollar will go directly toward helping Isla continue receiving the care she needs.
