About this Event
In this hands on kids art workshop, participants will explore printmaking by designing and creating their own animal inspired stamps. Using simple shapes and bold patterns, kids will build custom stamps and experiment with color to create vibrant prints they can take home.
The workshop is inspired by the graphic, nature focused style of Charley Harper and introduces kids to the basics of printmaking in a fun, approachable way. We will guide students step by step through designing their stamp, assembling it with foam shapes, inking, and printing on colorful paper. Kids are encouraged to experiment, layer colors, and create multiple prints while building confidence in their ideas.
This session is relaxed, welcoming, and designed to support creativity without pressure. Each child will leave with their handmade stamp and a set of finished prints, along with the skills to continue printmaking at home.
This is a paid workshop and all materials are included with the ticket. Seating is limited to keep the group small and engaging.
Ages 7+. Parents may join. Seats must be purchased in advance, and a ticket is required for each participant to cover materials.
