Kids' Workshop: Meet the Mosquitoes

Free kids' workshop at the Physicians’ Gallery with scientists from the Reece Lab at the University of Edinburgh
About this Event

About the workshop

Come and experience what it’s like to be scientist and meet the world’s most dangerous animal – the mosquito!

Mosquitoes can spread some nasty diseases and scientists, like those at Reece Lab, study them. At this workshop you will learn laboratory skills, study real mosquitoes and tackle questions like ‘how do you socially distance from a mosquito?’ and ‘why do mosquito bites itch?’

How it works

2. Arrive at the workshop at any point within your chosen time slot
