Kids Workshop: Magic Wands!

Kids will create a one-of-a-kind magic wand in this workshop, perfect for witches, wizards, princesses, fairies, and all imaginative beings! Participants will discover wand stories, practice poses for casting spells, and play magical games…there won’t be a dull moment! Our simple wand crafting approach is ideal for kids ages 6-12. Older participants can get creative with more details and personalization.

Children under 6 or those who need extra help with painting, gluing, and assembly will need a parent/guardian to assist.

About the Instructor:

Alix is an ACR evangelist, native Austinite, multi-passionate entrepreneur, and proponent of the Oxford comma. She grew up scrapbooking with her grandmother, and has been crafting ever since. Her varied projects have included a book purse, personalized greeting cards, paper lanterns made from red envelopes, a Bowtruckle made from floral wire and tape, spell jars, crystal intention bracelets, her own paper wedding bouquet, and tons of embroidery and cross stitching. One of Alix's businesses is child care - and who better to foist her love of crafting upon? She enjoys finding, preparing, and teaching age appropriate crafts that fit the kids’ interests.
