Ages 7-12
Does your child love comics? Then they’ll love this workshop!
This half-term, BAFTA winning animator, illustrator and comic artist Dan Chambers, is welcoming your little ones to the Roof Terrace for a special kid-friendly workshop on how to create your very own comic! Dan has over 20 years’ experience and is known for having animated, written, directed and voiced characters on popular shows including: Peppa Pig, Mr Bean, Peter Rabbit, Charlie & Lola, Miffy and many more.
Dan’s passion is making comics and helping others make them. Comics are a unique artform that tie together many disciplines including storytelling, hand/eye coordination, planning, imagination, focus and problem-solving.
Dan will introduce your little ones to comic drawing techniques and storytelling and will also help your children create their own comic, guiding with a light touch so they can genuinely say the comic is 100% their own work.
It’s a low-pressure session where your little ones will leave the workshop with their very own comic creation that they’ve hand drawn!
As your kids whip up some masterpieces, adults are asked to stay close by in the venue.
The Bar & Kitchen bar will be open for drinks which you are welcome to bring up to the Roof Terrace to enjoy.
