School is out—let’s get cooking!
Young chefs ages 7–13 are invited to Il Laboratorio for a fun, hands-on Italian cooking workshop. During this two-hour drop-off class, children will learn real kitchen skills, make an Italian dish from scratch and sit down together to enjoy what they created for lunch.
No weeklong camp commitment required—just one delicious morning in the kitchen!
Class includes:
• Hands-on cooking instruction
• All ingredients and supplies
• Lunch made by the young chefs
Menu:
Fresh Egg Pasta Dough
Fettuccine with Parmesan & Butter
Rigatoni with Creamy Tomato Sauce
Vegetables: Cucumber slices and carrot sticks
Dessert: Mini Cannoli
Parents are welcome to drop their child off or stay during class. Complimentary Wi-Fi and seating is available in our eating area if you’d like to work while you wait, and you’re welcome to watch the young chefs in action. To give the children an independent, hands-on experience, parents will not participate in the class.
NOTE: Classes are held at IL LABORATORIO - our Italian Cooking School kitchen located at 3101 Guess Rd. (NOT at Melina's Fresh Pasta shop).
All participants receive a Class Recipe Book via email after the class with the recipes from the class.

If the class is full - register for the wait list and you will be contacted first for future classes.
No Refunds: All classes are non-refundable; however, we can move your registration to a different date if you are unable to make it to the class (must give us 7 days notice). Rescheduling classes for less than 7 days notice only available if we can fill your spot from the waitlist. Please send an email to [email protected] - do not call for cancellations.
