See amazing sights at parks and wetlands, as wildlife prepares for winter. Ride along for a day of visiting the Baker Wetlands Discovery Center near Lawrence to learn about North America's wetland animals and their adaptations and meet some of their animal ambassadors. Then, take a fun trip to the only urban State Park in Kansas – Kaw River State Park! Let's walk trails in search of wild things! Kids' Tallgrass Tours are for ages 8 to 13.
Cost is $30 for FHDC members and $35 for non-members.
Pre-registration is required by 5 pm on Friday, November 22 online, by phone at 785-587-2726, or in person at the Discovery Center. Spots are limited.
