Kids Table is a six-piece indie pop band from Washington, D.C., blending catchy indie rock melodies with soulful flourishes, jazz-influenced harmony, and trumpet-led arrangements. Formed in 2023 by UNC Chapel Hill graduates Max Wooten and Mike Weaver, the group grew from a local cover band into a collaborative original project featuring vocalist Amy Smith, drummer Andy King, keyboardist Bryan Truong, and trumpeter Ryan Thomas. With seven original singles to their name, Kids Table’s sound spans the swung, soul-inflected feel of “Us and the Moon” to the straight-ahead indie rock of “Killing Time” and “Done.” Known for their exuberant live shows and deep connection to D.C.’s local music community, the band has played venues including 9:30 Club and Union Stage, headlined shows in New York City, and gained viral attention for their 2026 Adams Morgan PorchFest performance.
