Kids Summer Baking Camp (Ages 9 - 12)

Do you have a sneaking suspicion that you’re living with the next Gordon Ramsay?

If your kiddo is exhibiting some of the behaviors below, you just might be….

• You catch them watching cooking shows.
• They’ve started critiquing your cooking.
• They’re loitering in the kitchen for reasons other than sneaking food.
• They’re freely offering to help you with dinner. (Seriously, who is this kid?!)

It’s awesome they’ve shown an interest in cooking, and you’d love to see that passion grow.

With your busy schedule though, you just don’t have the time (or energy) to teach and supervise them.

So why not send them to a place this summer where they can get messy, learn the basics of baking, and bring home something delicious at the end of each day?

Now you can get your tween out of the house and into the kitchen with my summer baking boot camp.

In this four day camp, your little Julia Childs and Paul Hollywoods will learn how to:

• Read a recipe
• Measure ingredients
• Safely use kitchen equipment
• Mix and incorporate ingredients
• Clean up after themselves (you’re really excited about this one, I know ?)

And skipping to the good stuff, here’s what’s on the menu:

• Funky Monkey Cookies (peanut butter cereal, freeze dried banana, chocolate chips)
• Sweet Potato Cornbread served with Blue Cheese Butter
• Strawberry Pineapple Galette with Caramel Whipped Cream
• Taco Flatbread with Avocado Lime Crema

Class Hours: 1 - 4:30 PM | Monday, June 5 - Thursday, June 8

Age Requirements: This class is for ages 9-12.

What To Expect:

• Classes are limited to 12 students.
• Students will work together in groups of three-four.
• An apron will be provided for students to wear.
• Students will be standing and working for most of the class.
• We will take several breaks throughout the afternoon.
• The camp will be held indoors.
• Please send your child with a water bottle.
• Please have long hair tied back and wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes.
• I’m unable to accommodate food allergies in this class.
• All the recipes will be emailed to you at the end of the camp.

This class takes place in a high school culinary arts room. Equipment and supplies are residential-grade and are more approachable for home cooks and especially children.

Giving Back: 15% of the ticket sales go right back to the school.

Refund Policy: If you find you are unable to attend this class, you must request a refund at least 7 days prior to the class date for a full refund . If you do need to cancel within 7 days of the class, please reach out about transferring your ticket to a future class.
