Kids Summer Art Program - Art + Nature

This hands-on class invites young artists to explore the outdoors and transform natural findings into unique masterpieces. Discover creativity with nature and watch your child's artistic skills blossom in a fun, supportive environment! Kids should bring a snack and water bottle, parents are welcome to drop off starting at 8:50 am and pickup should be promptly at noon. On Friday, we welcome family and friends to see their artwork in a mini-exhibition from 11:30-12pm.

• Monday: Bottle Cap Flowers: Upcycle everyday items into a vibrant garden of "blooms" using colorful bottle caps and artistic flair.
• Tuesday: Sun Prints: Experience the magic of cyanotypes by using the power of the sun to create stunning blue-and-white impressions of leaves and flowers.
• Wednesday: Creative Bugs: Bring the garden to life by crafting whimsical insects and friendly garden critters from assorted materials.
• Thursday: Leaf Rubbings & Prints: Discover the intricate textures of nature through classic rubbing techniques and colorful leaf printing.
• Friday: Ocean Adventures: Dive into creativity with beach-themed art, capturing the beauty of the sea with shells, sand, and ocean waves. Parents are invited to join for a mini exhibition 11:30-12 pm!
