This hands-on workshop is perfect for kids who are ready to learn the basics of using a sewing machine! During class, students will be guided step-by-step through machine basics and then create an adorable penguin plushie to take home.This is a great introduction to sewing for beginners or a confidence-building class for kids who have some experience.
What Students Will Learn:
• Sewing machine basics & safety
• Threading and simple stitching
• Following a simple pattern
• Sewing and assembling a plush project
Each child will leave with a completed penguin plushie and new sewing skills!
Workshop Details:
• Date: Saturday, February 28
• Time: 1:00–3:00 PM
• Ages: 8–12
• Students must bring their own sewing machine
• All project materials provided
• Small group instruction
