We are hosting our first annual Kid's Safe Summer Event on May 10, 2024 from 5:00pm-7:00pm.This event is open to everyone in our community and surrounding areas and is completely FREE.
It is a fun evening focused on children and families having a safe and healthy summer.
We will have tons of community partners full of giveaways, resources, and free food for everyone that attends.
We have put together this free event in collaboration with HPD, Huntington Fire Department, Safety town, Gun safety with Bastion Fire Arms, we will also have a nurse to do wellness exams on kids at no cost, free fingerprinting with Safe Surfin. We will also have car seat checks (by a certified car seat technician) & car seats available to those families in need. Bring your teddy bears for a cute teddy bear clinic by CHH to learn about what kind of care you receive from your doctors. Learn bike safety with the Pilot’s club and free helmets to kids in need. Speak with resources such as the health department, WV WIC, position control, and water safety.
Free food & giveaways, that just touches the surface of what to expect at this fun event. We hope to see you all there!!
