About this Event
Welcome to Kids Puppy Yoga! 🐶🧘♀️
Join us for a fun-filled experience designed just for kids ages 6–14! Our Kids Puppy Yoga classes combine beginner-friendly yoga, movement, games, and plenty of puppy playtime in a safe and supervised environment.
Our classes are held at 3155 Bermuda St, Suite 100, Ferndale, MI 48220. Free parking is available, and yoga mats are provided.
This unique experience helps children build confidence, practice mindfulness, stay active, and enjoy the companionship of adorable puppies. Whether your child loves animals, yoga, or simply trying new things, Kids Puppy Yoga is sure to be a memorable experience!
Please Note:
- Ages 6–14 only.
- A parent or legal guardian must complete registration and acknowledge the waiver on behalf of the child.
- Parents are welcome to wait in the lobby during class.
- All ticket sales are final. No refunds or ticket transfers.
Our Standards
The health, safety, and well-being of both our puppies and participants are our top priorities. All interactions between children and puppies are closely supervised by our staff to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved.
Where do the puppies come from?
Each class may feature puppies from local breeders or rescue organizations. Every puppy is carefully selected to participate and returns to its home or rescue environment after the event.
Puppy Yoga Detroit is NOT selling based. We proudly promote rescue organizations and encourage adoptions only through our partnered rescues. Puppies attending from breeders are not available for sale or adoption and participate solely for socialization and enrichment purposes.
Our goal is to provide puppies with positive social experiences while creating a fun and educational environment for children.
Release of Liability
By registering a child for participation in Kids Puppy Yoga, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges and agrees to the following:
1. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
I understand that participation involves interaction with live animals and physical activity. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my child's participation, including but not limited to minor scratches, bites, falls, allergic reactions, or other injuries that may occur.
I release and hold harmless Emma Cassidy Holdings, LLC, Puppy Yoga Detroit, its instructors, staff, volunteers, venue partners, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, expenses, or causes of action arising from participation in this event.
2. Animal Interaction
I understand that puppies are live animals and may behave unpredictably despite supervision and safety precautions. My child agrees to follow all instructions provided by staff regarding puppy handling and behavior.
Puppy Yoga Detroit reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or harmful to the puppies, staff, or other participants.
3. Medical Authorization
In the event of an emergency, I authorize event staff to seek appropriate medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached immediately. Any medical expenses incurred are the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
4. Photo & Video Release
I grant permission for Emma Cassidy Holdings, LLC and Puppy Yoga Detroit to use photographs and/or videos of my child taken during the event for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes without compensation.
5. Parent/Guardian Acknowledgment
By purchasing a ticket, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participating child and that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined above on behalf of myself and my child.
