The Te Atatū Peninsula Library and Community Centre is hosting a Kids Poetry Day on Saturday 24th August.
FREE ENTRY!
This event is being held as part of the celebrations for Phantom Billstickers National Poetry Day (Friday 23 August).
Kids Poetry Day runs from 10am-1pm, and will include:
* Readings from poets Elena de Roo, Kathryn Dove, Annelies Judson and Melinda Szymanik
* Readings from child poets from local schools
* Interactive poetry activities
The activities are aimed at 5-12 year olds but the whole family is welcome!
