** KIDS PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS - ESA APPROVED **I have spots available for my Kids' DSLR Photography class that starts in August. We will meet on Thursdays from August 29th -September 26th (5 weeks) from 4:00-5:30PM in my home in SE Mesa on Ray + Signal Butte.
This 5 week class is perfect for beginners (Ages 10-16) who are interested in photography and want to learn the basics of digital photography and begin shooting in manual mode by week one. It does require a DSLR/Mirrorless camera (Which means the settings can be adjusted manually). Any camera brand will work, but I prefer Canon and recommend the Rebel line for beginners. I am an ESA-Approved vendor and cameras and lenses are covered by ESA.
I have my degree in elementary education and have been a professional photographer for over 10 years.
I'll be weaving in additional learning topics into the curriculum, such as:
Perseverance
Entrepreneurship
Growth mindset + taking ownership
Learning to take and give constructive criticism.
Each Lesson Includes:
Direct instruction
Printed Workbook to refer back to
Reflective discussion questions
Time to practice shooting
Weekly practice assignment
Recordings of each lesson to refer back to
I limit the class size to 12 students. This is the 9th time I've run this class. It's always sooo much fun.
