About this Event
About this Ninjutsu workshop
Recommended age: 7–12
Focuses on traditional martial arts movements to develop coordination and body control. Training includes shuriken and sword basics, as well as body movement exercises.
What will you learn?
You will learn exercises based on movements of the ninja, as well as practice mental training that the ninja used, which were valued even more than physical ability.
This includes how to calm your mind in moments of need or to inspire courage when facing challenges—an important skill to give yourself balance in modern-day life.
Wear comfortable clothes.
Bring: water (and a wooden sword if available).

What is Ninjutsu?
Ninjutsu is the traditional survival art once used by shinobi—specialists in intelligence gathering and combat in old Japan.
Many people only associate Ninjutsu with flashy fighting techniques because of anime and pop culture. In reality, it is a wide-ranging set of knowledge and skills focused on wartime survival, not just combat.
