Come celebrate the sixth of the 12 Moons of 2024 through story, craft, music, and community!
We are looking forward to our sixth session of the new MAEVE program - The Kids Moon Club following the Wilder Child curriculum, in partnership with Roots Family Collaborative. This family friendly, public event welcomes all families in our community to gather each month and celebrate the natural rhythm of the moon. Recommended for ages 3+. Babies in backpacks or carriers, dads and siblings of all ages are also welcome. No need to have attended the prior sessions to join this one.
Meet at the Gallatin Regional Park Parking Lot off of Oak street. Each full moon, we will begin with introductions followed by a chapter from the Full Moon Forest Story. Most occasions will include craft or activity stations and the opportunity to go on a nature walk. The first 30 minutes will be more structured, followed by more free exploration for the remainder of the event. Roots will have community resources available for those in need. Please dress for the night-time weather, as the temperature drops with the sun!
