Kids in the Kitchen: Butter my Biscuits!

There’s something a little magical about making food from scratch, especially when you’re little.
This month at Kids in the Kitchen, our young chefs will make their own warm, fluffy biscuits AND discover what happens when you shake, shake, shake a jar of cream long enough… you make BUTTER!
While our biscuits bake, we’ll turn heavy cream into fresh butter, then each child can flavor their creation with something delicious like Honey Cinnamon, Cranberry Orange, or fresh Garden Herbs.
We’ll measure, mix, knead, shake, taste, and probably make a little bit of a mess. Because that’s what cooking with kids is supposed to look like. 😊
Designed for ages 3–7 with a grown-up, this hands-on 45-minute workshop is all about giving little ones real jobs in the kitchen and showing them just how much they’re capable of.
