A nature-based, play-driven outdoor workshop designed for young children (ages 3–6), focused on exploring plants, herbs, and the natural world through movement, creativity, and sensory-rich experiences.Each session encourages curiosity, confidence, and connection to nature while allowing children to learn through hands-on exploration and guided play.
Children will:
• explore herbs and natural materials through touch, smell, and observation
• engage in guided outdoor play and simple nature-based games
• participate in a hands-on activity each session
• take home a small project or creation
Activities may include:
• sensory herb exploration (touch, smell, and simple identification)
• nature-based movement and discovery games
• simple herbal projects (such as sachets or blends)
• creative activities using natural materials
Each class follows a simple, engaging rhythm including a welcome circle, exploration, hands-on activity, movement or play, and a closing reflection.
These sessions are designed to be fun, flexible, and low-pressure — allowing children to explore at their own pace while building a meaningful connection to the natural world.
