As part of Gardens Magic 2026, bring your tamariki to explore the world of butterflies with hands-on activities at the Botanic Garden ki Paekākā!
Perfect for curious minds and young adventurers, these days are packed with fun activities to learn about the plants and animals of the gardens 🦋

Running alongside the Kids Garden Trail, the Kids Explorer Days are a special chance to immerse yourself in nature and enjoy free summer activities with the kids.

This event is a part of Gardens Magic, brought by Wellington City Council, set amongst the natural beauty of the Wellington Botanic Garden ki Paekākā. Gardens Magic includes a free Concert Series, Light Display, Kids Garden Trail and Kids Explorer Days, and more.
