Meet the secretive creatures that live in our creeks!
Stop by the Hudson Library at 3:30pm on Thursday, July 16th to check out the critters! Outreach Director Skye will introduce budding entomologists (insect scientists) to a collection of live aquatic insects as we explore what kinds of creatures they are, how they spend their days, and why they are important to both humans and nature. As part of this program, attendees will be invited to get hands-on and sort the insects as we learn to identify them.
This program will run from 3:30pm-5:00pm, and is free and open to the public with no registration required. It's geared towards children ages 7-13, but bug lovers of all ages are invited to attend.
