Join us for a special screening of Sieger Sein, the award-winning German film that follows the inspiring journey of eleven-year-old Mona.
After fleeing Syria with her family, Mona finds herself at a primary school in Berlin, where she struggles with the language but shines on the soccer field. With the support of her teacher and her aunt, Mona's passion for football opens new doors—though teamwork proves just as challenging as adapting to her new life.
Directed by Soleen Yusef and awarded Best Children's Film at the German Film Awards 2024, Sieger Sein is a powerful story about resilience, teamwork, and finding one's place.
The movie will be in German with English subtitles. Suitable for children 10 years and up.
