This kid's class is designed to be fun as well as functional. What better way to introduce your junior craftsperson to the hobby than to have them build a utilitarian item they can use every day. This footstool is based on a tried-and-true size and design. Some of the skills introduced are measuring, marking, cutting, boring, sanding, shaping and finishing. Students younger than 17 MUST be accompanied by an adult. (Power tools WILL NOT be used by the students.)Prerequisites: None
Tools Required: Work Clothes (wear something that can be ruined), Work Gloves, Safety Glasses, Closed Toed Shoes
