Kids Cake Decorating
About this Event
The Pizzelle learning kitchen is the perfect place for kids to learn about from-scratch baking, kitchen ettiquette, recipes, and the baking industry at large. We aim to create a safe environment for kids to feel free to express themselves, experiment, and learn without the fear of making a mess or mistake.
This class is intended for kids ages 6-16.
No Knives Necessary: All the cakes will be leveled and split upon arrival, for safety.
Hands-On Learning: Each student will fill, base, and decorate according to their preference. The teacher will be there for guidence, not strict instruction. All the tools necessary (piping bags, tips, spatulas, turntable, and so forth) will be provided.
Creative Freedom: Every student will have access to an array of colored buttercream, sprinkles, different shapes of piping tips, and more to make their individual visions come to life. While we will be sure to show them some techniques, we want them to play around and see what they like best. This is their creation, afterall!
