Tuesdays - 6 Week Summer Sew and Stitch with Miss Sarah
Tuesdays July 14 - August 18
4:15 - 5:45pm
Kids ages 7 - 18 will just love this fun program with lots of projects to learn on a personal and simple machine. Both machine sewing and hand stitching will be taught.
Miss Sarah will start with stitching on the embroidery hoop to practice threading a needle, running stitch plus working on a sewing machine practice sheet for using presser foot, turning corners and an overall sense of comfort. And next Miss Sarah will offer 2 projects for the students to decide on (pencil roll, drawstring bag, etc) and everyone learns at their own pace. Frequent visitor, JoJo may assist with inspections and pets (JoJo is our working studio feline in love with textiles, fluff and all things clinking like needs and pins!)
All supplies included.
*Classes occur on the second floor and while we do not have an elevator, teacher assistance is available if you have trouble climbing stairs.
