Our sewing classes are designed to be relaxed and fun! Kids will take a machine-sewn project home after each class in their first four weeks — a reversible bag, wristlet or wallet, French seam pillowcase, and patchwork pillow. Sign up anytime to continue for four consecutive weeks.
If your child needs to miss a class, a makeup can be scheduled within 2 weeks of the missed class.
Ages 6 and up. All supplies, a curated selection of fabrics, and sewing machines included. Students are welcome to bring their own machines and fabrics if they’d like to. If you need fabric requirements for shopping on your own, we're happy to provide them. We also carry fabrics from Cool People Quilt right inside the studio for $12/yard.
You'll learn how to:
thread and operate a sewing machine (ours or your own)
sew straight lines and turn perfect corners
sew zippers
sew french seams, finish seams neatly
sew curves and linings
Class Level:
No previous experience is required.
