Kids Art Workshop: Needle Felting for Ages 8–14 July 1st

Looking for a creative summer activity for your child? Join Mrs. Pendleton, a local HCPSS art teacher, for a fun and hands-on needle felting workshop where kids will learn a unique fiber art technique and create their own handmade project to take home.In this engaging workshop, young artists will explore how colorful wool can be shaped and layered using special felting needles to create beautiful textured artwork. Students will learn the basics of needle felting while building confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills in a supportive studio environment.Participants may create designs such as a small landscape, animal, or abstract wool artwork, making each project completely unique.

What’s Included:

• All felting materials and supplies

• Step-by-step instruction from a certified art teacher

• A completed felted art project to take home • Outdoor snack break mid-morning (please bring a snack)
