Activity 1: Aboriginal Art
Join us for a fun, hands-on art activity. Western Oregon University Art Professor Rebecca McCannell will show you tow to make unique artwork inspired by the designs of the indigenous people of Australia. Use them as postcards and thank-you notes, or decorate your wall and locker.
Activity 2: Paul Klee's "Senecio"
Explore with expression! Together, we will recreate Swiss-German artist Paul Klee's self-portrait "Senecio". Composed of many different shapes, this cubist painting is a great jumping-off point to explore mathematical terms in German at an explanatory level.
