Kid's art classes with Jessica Hedrick

I'm squeezing in one set of kid's classes before the end of the school year! For kids 8-11 June 15, 22, 29 from 2:30-4pm (with options running until 5pm for extra childcare). This is a small class so sign up today!
The kids will make artwork to go in their very own group created zine. In the process students will learn the basics of how to break down something they would like to draw into large shapes then bring it to a final form from that. They will learn how to create values using different paper based media to look like a 3D object. Finally they'll learn a little about the history of zines.
I have recently completed my Bachelor of Education from UBCO, have worked a professional artist for years, have owned and operated a fine art gallery in Vancouver and have worked at Hambleton Galleries here in Kelowna. Now I want to give children who are keen on art an opportunity to deepen their skills, abilities and knowledge in a way that is meaningful and useful to them.
