Kids and Critters Day Camp is BAAACCKKKKK!What could be better than for your animal loving child to spend a week making new friends here at the SPCA? Kids & Critters Day Camp provides Kern County youth with a special educational opportunity to learn responsible pet ownership, promote the human-animal bond, and social responsibility.
Join our weekly summer camp(s) here at the animal shelter, designed for kids aged 8-12 years old.
Fun Activity Programs:
Learn valuable skills such as:
Caring for shelter animals
Developing dog and cat babysitting skills
Basic obedience training
First aid and animal safety course
And of course, there will be plenty of animal-themed games, crafts, and activities to keep the kiddos entertained! Fostering a furry friend will help make memories that will last a lifetime.
