Bella Olson is a 12-year-old Chicago native, YouTube creator, and now a USA Today bestselling author. Her debut adventure novel, TRAPPED, quickly earned national attention, marking an exciting milestone for a first-time author at such a young age. She is also the founder of Avocado Awesomeness, a popular YouTube channel dedicated to all things fun, creative, and just a little bit extra.

A proud Brazilian-American, Bella is fluent in both Portuguese and English. She’s a musical theater enthusiast who has brought characters to life in productions like The Lion King, Descendants, and Matilda, and can perform the Hamilton soundtrack start to finish without missing a beat.
