Kidney Health: Moving in Harmony with the Seasons for Optimal Kidney Health

Ayurveda has timeless wisdom on the important role of the urinary tract which includes your kidneys, related illnesses, how this relates to your current dosha (I can help you find that), holistic approaches to optimal kidney health based on your doshas, and questions you can ask your doctor.

These classes will empower you to approach your kidney health from a holistic, integrative, and impactful approach. This ticket is for one class in a series of 4 Kidney Health Classes.

You may join one or all classes in the series and take them in any order. Each purchase is for one class on the date stated in the specification of your registration.

Each class includes 15-30 minutes of chair yoga. Wear comfortable clothes.

The four class titles are:

A. Kidney Health: Overview of Kidney Function, Related Illnesses, and Questions to Ask Your Doctor.

B. Kidney Health: An Ayurvedic overview of the kidneys, the doshas, and integrative approaches for optimal kidney health.- Learn how diseases progress in the body, signs to identify for preventative action, and steps you can take to help your kidneys. This presentation will include a review of helpful herbs and other approaches.

C. Kidney Health: Moving in Harmony with the Seasons for Optimal Kidney Health- Learn what steps you can take to optimize your kidney health with each season. This presentation will include a review of helpful herbs and other approaches.

D. Kidney Health: Let Food Be Thy Medicine- Rooted in the wisdom of Ayurveda, this class offers a fresh perspective on how to use food to support optimal kidney health.

About the Instructor: Emanda Thomas, Ph.D.

After 4 years of classroom and clinical training with the California College of Ayurveda, along with supporting customers of Smile Herb Shop since 2020, I am able to guide students and clients to take the reins in their wellness journey. I help them identify and understand their constitution and how that influences health in the mind, body, and spirit. I can help you identify what uniquely works well for you, and ways to create a more balanced and healthy life based on your unique constitution. Together, we will build your wellness toolkit that you can return to at any time to help you conquer any imbalance you’re experiencing.

When I'm not teaching and learning about holistic wellness, I enjoy my other labor of love, teaching tiny humans (1st graders) at a local elementary school. Fun usually emphasizes relaxing for me, LOL... So I love catching a good yoga class, enjoying great music, or appreciating time with friends and loved ones.
