Kiddush Levanah Serie- Lag Ba'OMER - The 33rd Day

THIS MONTH

We will be celebrating the Month of Iyur - (Blossom). Due to custom to not to have Extended Joy during this time period, it is customarily to wait until Lag Ba'OMER (The 33rd Day). This is a Holiday that celebrated the reemergence of Torah and Jewish Tradition despite the Roman persecution in honor of Rabbi Shimon, one of the few surviving scholars.

We will have the ceremony in honor of the New Month with the ceremony. 

For those who wish to be extra stringent for the ritual, it is preferred to make blessing before the fullmoon. 

NEW MOON CELEBRATION

The Kiddush Levanah is an event to 'Unite the Tribe' tracing the ritual thousands of years in the Jewish Tradition.

The 'Sanctification of the New Moon' is an event that pays specific respect to the feminine energies. In the Jewish Tradition, there are aspects of the New Month that are reserved as a special holiday for women as the moon is compared to the Shechniah (The Feminine Devine Aspects
