Sidney & Matilda Presents: Kid Spirit
is an alt-synth rock quartet based in Nottingham, UK. After relocating back to home hometownroots, Luke Parker (Vox/Keys) reformed the former Brighton group in early 2023 with a freshnew lineup, welcoming former musical flames and friends alike, Steve Heather (Bass), LewDuckworth (Guitar) and Matt Bell (Drums).Blending textural guitars and cosmic synths, they create melancholic music that draws a filine between atmospheric pop and flashes of explosive post-rock. After building a followithrough sold-out shows, they’ve embraced UK and International airplay from a flurry of singreleases.The band recently released the first part of their ‘Salvation Series’, which features a YouTulive set, a 4-track EP, and a limited-edition physical CD release. All were recorded exclusivelyat the incredible Salvation Music Studios, recently hosting Rock and roll heavyweights such asThe Cure and David Gilmour (Pink Floyd).With debut festival appearances and more singles already on the horizon, 2025 promises tobe an exciting chapter for KID SPIRIT
