Kid Safe City: A Hands-On Safety Event for Kids
Give your child the opportunity to learn important safety skills while having fun and meeting the everyday heroes who help keep our community safe. Through interactive activities, demonstrations, and age-appropriate lessons, participants will build confidence and learn practical skills they can use in everyday life.

Resident: $30
Non-Resident: $40
Participants will meet real community heroes, including police officers, firefighters, and paramedics, and learn firsthand about the important work they do to keep our community safe.
⭐ August 11 – Safety Sprouts (Ages 5–7)
Young learners will discover when and how to call 911, practice basic fire safety, learn healthy habits to help prevent the spread of germs, and explore important playground safety rules.
⭐ August 12 – Junior Citizen (Ages 8–12)
Participants will learn the difference between emergencies and non-emergencies while building awareness of bike and playground safety through fun, hands-on activities.
⭐ August 13 – Safety Leaders (Ages 12–17)
Tweens and teens will learn how to stay safe when home alone, practice bike and internet safety, participate in A.L.I.C.E. Training, create a home fire escape plan, receive hands-on CPR instruction, and discuss topics such as vaping awareness and peer pressure.
Whether your child is learning how to call 911 for the first time or gaining skills that can help them become a safer, more confident teen, Kid Safe City offers a fun and engaging experience they'll remember long after the program ends.
