well its a sort of covers band but more of an interpretations band!!!
Its an absolute bonkers ride through the history of pop.
What we do is take mostly 1970s pop songs and do our own very striped down and garagy primitive take on them. Much the same way that the Cramps would take 50s and 60s songs and do their thing to them. We have played gigs with The Rezillos, Dirt Box Disco, Vice Squad, Louise Distras The Pukes, Ed Tudor , Crazy. The Zipheads Doctor and the Medics, Department s, Blue Carpet band , festivals like the Unholy Messtival, Deerstock. Alices Wicked tea Party. Under the Castle rebellion many more, along with our own headline shows at The Dublin Castle. Most people don’t see us as a cover band and most gigs we get asked to play are strictly originals nights ! but the sight of a venue full of metal heads or Punks or whoever singing and moshing to Chirpy Chirpy CheepCheep is bizarre. and somewhere over the rainbow in the style of the Ramones!
