Kid + Adult Collaborative Letterpress Wood Type Poster Class

Create a Custom Letterpress Poster: Adult & Child Collaborative Workshop

Join us for a hands-on letterpress printing experience where a parent or guardian and a child (ages 7+) will design and print their own unique posters using our collection of vintage wood type and decorative blocks.

Each 2 person team team will:

• Design a poster using our antique wood type and image collection
• Print on pre-made colorful gradient backgrounds
• Learn basic typesetting and letterpress printing techniques
• Receive guidance from Dan, our experienced printer
• Take home 12 copies of their poster design plus a special name print
• Have the option to trade prints with other workshop participants

We will streamlined the process by providing a variety of pre-printed color background sheets, allowing you to focus on creative typography and content while exploring traditional letterpress techniques.

Duration: 3 1/2 hours

No prior experience necessary!
