Presenters' Bios:
Shaundretta Boykins, The Credit Connoisseur, LLC, CEO
For over two decades, nearly three, Shaundretta Boykins has been a transformational leader in financial services and a tireless advocate for economic equity. As the CEO of The Credit Connoisseur, LLC, Shaundretta has championed initiatives that empower minority business owners, building pathways to capital and financial literacy. Her groundbreaking work includes pivotal roles in banking, at The Columbus Urban League’s 700 Credit Score Community, Culture Market, serving as Director of the Women’s Business Center and her current role as the Manager of Business Development and Entrepreneurship for the State of Ohio. With her tenure and roles in banking, business and community advocacy she has redefined what it means to foster and create opportunity and economic justice.
Shaundretta’s achievements are widely celebrated. Honored with the Business Excellence Award, she also holds a bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in Criminology, Sociology, and African and African American Studies. In her state-level leadership role, she tirelessly designs programs that dismantle financial barriers, having funded nearly $9 million for minority and women-owned businesses in a single year, and nearly $90 million since 2022.
She is not only a visionary leader but also a servant of her community. Known as “The Financial Moses” and “Economic Evangelist,” Shaundretta has hosted transformative workshops, helped incarcerated individuals rebuild credit scores, and create business plans to be implemented upon their release. She spearheaded the Mom-Preneur Movement. She started an initiative in 2021 labeled “The Big Give” where her and other community members give members of waitstaff a “big tip”. They have patronized 10individuals, across 9 restaurants, in three cities at a total of $15,410.00. Her advocacy transcends policies—she creates legacies.
A socio-economic justice advocate, Shaundretta is inspired by her identity as a young, Black, female business owner. She continues to fight against disparities, and barriers while championing trust, literacy, and wealth equity. As a mother, wife, and community pillar, Shaundretta’s journey is a testament to her belief in the power of faith, resilience, and purpose.

Raymond Jackson is a visionary financial services and business development executive with over 15 years of proven success in driving revenue growth, managing multi-million dollar portfolios, and leading high-performance teams. As the founder and Registered Investment Advisor of Jackson Insurance and Financial Group, he built a thriving practice from the ground up by combining data-driven investment strategies with a client-centric philosophy.
His distinguished corporate tenure includes leadership roles at premier institutions such as JPMorgan Chase, where he expanded client assets from $13M to $25M as a Vice President of Investments, and Merrill Lynch, where he managed a $52M wealth management portfolio. Raymond's expertise extends beyond advisory to operational leadership, having served as a Branch Manager for Fifth Third Bank, where he was recognized as a Platinum Producer.
Core to his success is a strategic ability to translate complex financial insights into actionable plans that achieve corporate growth objectives and client satisfaction. He is a certified facilitator in leadership development and is deeply committed to community engagement, serving as a trustee for several non-profit foundations.
Raymond holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Findlay. He is a collaborative leader focused on cultivating long-term relationships, mentoring teams to excellence, and delivering measurable, bottom-line results.
