“Kickoff: The Beautiful Game on Screen”
Celebrate the launch of OFFA 2026 with Kickoff: The Beautiful Game on Screen — a high-energy evening exploring how soccer connects communities across cultures and around the world through film and sport. Hosts\Moderators include OFFA Host Extraordinaire, Tyler Collins, as well as Pierce Lang, widely regarded as “the voice of youth soccer in Ontario,” Pierce Lang has become one of the leading storytellers covering the Canadian game through his work with the Ontario Premier League, Ontario Soccer, and FTF Canada.
Beginning at 6:00 PM outside the Burlington Performing Arts Centre, guests can enjoy red carpet activities, photos on the step-and-repeat wall, audience challenges, and interactive soccer activities. Meet local soccer heroes, capture memorable photos, and experience the excitement before the show begins.
Inside the theatre at 7:00 PM, audiences will enjoy freestyle soccer performances, audience trivia and challenges, special guests, door prizes, and an energetic celebration of sport, storytelling, and community. The evening features spectacular soccer juggling and acrobatics by renowned freestyle performer Dennis Thompson and his team of soccer artists.
