Kickoff Cook Off on Main Street

Kick Off Homecoming Week!
Timnath Homecoming is about more than football. It’s about bringing our community together to celebrate the place we call home, and we’re kicking off homecoming week with a brand-new community tradition: the first annual Kickoff Cook Off!
Join us on Saturday, September 19 from 11 AM–2 PM on Timnath Main Street for a street carnival and chili competition, all led by the students of Timnath Middle-High School.
🌶️ THE CHILI COMPETITION
Teams from Timnath Middle-High School will face off in a friendly chili cook-off, serving up their best recipes and competing for your vote. Come hungry, grab a spoon, and decide which student team deserves bragging rights!
Chili tastings are $1 each and sold in packs of 10. Cash or Venmo accepted. 100% of tasting proceeds benefit Timnath Middle-High School.
🎪 THE STREET CARNIVAL
While you’re tasting your way through the competition, stick around for a full afternoon of family fun, including:
• Live music and entertainment
• Food trucks
• Carnival games
• Face painting
• Chili tasting and voting
• Plenty of opportunities to hang out with your neighbors and celebrate our community
This event is by the students, for the community. From cooking the chili to creating the carnival experience, Timnath Middle-High School students are at the heart of the day.
