Hi, international student in Tartu!
⚽ We are Tartu JK Tammeka, the top football club in the town. We’ve never been nicknamed the Academics or the Students. But in our teams, staff, and community, we’ve had both. So you’ll fit in just fine!
Our men’s team represents Tartu in the Estonian top division, A. Le Coq Premium liiga.
Next Tuesday, September 16, we invite you to a very special home match: 🟦 Tartu JK Tammeka vs Pärnu JK Vaprus. 🟨
WHAT'S UP
👉 First, we have (again! – the first time on August 31 was very popular) exclusive activities for international students: stadium tours, games and a meeting with the head coach that we, as football aficionados, would love to experience ourselves when moving to a new place.
👉 Secondly, on this evening, the entire JK Tammeka will meet at Tamme Stadium to support the team against Pärnu JK Vaprus.⚽⚔️ This will be a fundamental football battle, in the name of JK Tammeka and Tartu! So expect tactical masterminding, tensions, drama, cards, goals, and more.

🏟️ 16.45 Programme start for the early birds. We meet behind the stadium building (Tamme pst 1, Tartu). Start of the 1st Stadium and Team’s Dressing Room Tour with Kalle Paas, a local fan turned club’s Communication and Marketing Manager. 🏆 17.30 Win a Prize! Learn about Estonia, Tartu, and JK Tammeka and show your knowledge and logic in a Kahoot game. The top 3 will be awarded prizes.
🤝 18.00 Meeting with Siim Valtna, the first team coach. He’ll give us a glimpse of what to expect from tonight’s match tactics-wise. Years ago, Siim himself studied abroad in Portugal as an Erasmus student. Did he take something from there into his views on football?
🗺️ 18.20 Start of the 2nd Stadium Tour with Kalle Paas. // 🍻 See the teams warming up, chat with other international students and local JK Tammeka supporters about (Estonian) football and Tartu.
